Vector Power Inverter

I was doing some spring cleaning/decluttering and found the Vector 750 watt power inverter that we used to connect the Playstation 2 in my wife's van for my son to play on our way to Florida a few years back. It has many more uses than just a game console though...

Firestarter

Today I made fire starters using toilet paper tubes, dryer lint, and wax. I melted the wax dipped the ends of the toilet paper tubes and stuffed with lint. Pretty easy stuff being that we have an abundance of toilet paper tubes and dryer lint.

Waffles!

Mmmm, waffles warm and chewy and full of syrup craters! I can't see why anybody wouldn't like em. Anybody have a favorite topping? Post in the comments.

TV Antenna

So I picked up a multi-directional flat digital antenna to connect to our 22" TV with built-in dvd player to pick up local channels. I tested it in the house and the picture quality is awesome. We usually put the TV on the stove (because we never use it) and I plan on placing the antenna right behind the TV leaning against the window. I'll update after our trip in April!

Update: Back from our Easter weekend trip and used the antenna for the first time and it worked great! The channels came in crystal clear I definitely recommend this if your in the market for one.

Got wood...

This past weekend a neighbor a couple houses down from my folks house was having a tree cut down so I walked down and asked the guy doing the work what he was going to do with the wood. He said that he was going to sell it for firewood but said I could have some. Long story short after talking with him I ended up getting a very large portion filling up the 8ft bed of my truck!

Camper mattress topper

My wife recently purchased a 2.5" gel memory foam mattress topper to use in the camper laid down on it briefly and seemed very comfortable. Excited to use it on the upcoming trip in April... will post about it again...

The itch continued...

Camp Chef Expedition 3x

So, I've  just received my Camp Chef Expedition 3x burner stove with 16"x24" griddle. Man this thing is bad ass, it has three 30,000BTU burners and I must say I'm ready to start cooking. Mmmmmmm BACON!!
